Paddle Party

In a word: FUN!

It's part auction and part raffle. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to be a winner!

How to participate:

1. Purchase at least one paddle. Paddles are sold at the event for $1 each. You can buy as many paddles as you like. Having more paddles increases your chances of winning!

2. When an item is up for auction, the auctioneer indicates if it is a one, two or three quarter bid. That is the amount required per paddle to enter the drawing for that item.

3. To bid on an item, raise one or more paddles. Someone will come to collect the corresponding number of quarters per paddle you want to enter. You may enter one, some, or all of your paddles.
For example: You purchase 5 paddles. An item that you really want is up for auction with a 2 quarter bid. You raise all 5 paddles, so you will spend 10 quarters on the bid. If 20 other paddles also bid, your odds of winning are 5 in 20!

4. Once all bids are placed, the auctioneer draws a number. If you bid on an item and one of your paddle numbers is called, you win!

Important things to note:

-You can bring quarters or purchase a roll (or ten!) at the party.
-Before you can bid, you must purchase at least one paddle.
-During the auction, you can bid with one, some, or all of your paddles (and the appropriate number of quarters).

Food and drinks will be available for purchase. No RSVP needed. Come for the entertainment or to bid. Spend as much or as little as you like.
