Dear A. R. Foundation people,
First time to apply the grant for my child’s medical bills, and we got approved in a month! We are so grateful in deep!
Since I was looking for many of the foundations for special children need, YOU are best one! Little Aubrey’s and her family story really touch my heart. I admire their courage and optimism when the long term disease came, especially when happened on the child, and teach me to be like that!
Now A.R.F helped us solved the medical finance problem. We are so grateful and we are ready and do whatever we can, reach our hands to help other children and their family when they need- just like YOU!
im hannah gwen borres thank you for saving my life, im grade two student now.
Hollenkamp family – As some of you know, during my 2nd pregnancy with our twins, my water broke at 26 weeks & our babies were delivered at 30 weeks, weighing about 2 1/2 lbs each! At that time, they were so fragile & we learned a little bit about what it’s like to live at the hospital & have a 3 year old sibling who’s life did a 360.
First myself, hospitalized & confined to a bed for almost 4 weeks prior to delivery, then the twins in the NICU for about 3 1/2 weeks after they were born. Fast forward 11 years & they are turning into beautiful young ladies right alongside their older sister.
Though we were fortunate enough never to need help from the foundation, we have never forgotten all the prayers, love & hope people showed us throughout those times. It is heartwarming to see all the messages from families Aubrey’s foundation has helped through the years & our family is honored to be a part of giving back through Aubrey’s foundation.
Jerry & Nancy … you simply amaze us with all that you do in the name of your sweet baby girl! Aubrey’s smile shines from heaven a little brighter each day through her family & her foundation!!
My 7 month old grandson, James. went in for his 2nd heart surgery July 13th, and 2 days later, his father was laid off his job. His young family had endured so much already, it was heartbreaking to get that news.
What a wonderful blessing that a few days later, my son finds a box from your foundation on his doorstep. Your generosity came at a most needed time. I can not tell you what a weight you have lifted from this family. Your gift has made it possible for my son and his wife to focus on enjoying their son and smiling with him as he gets better.
We will always be grateful to this foundation and will spread the word of your kind deeds. What an inspiration Aubrey’s life has been.
As for this grandma. I’m smiling from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping through granting our request regarding Nathalie. This organization has been a God send to our family. Surely you have truely honored God and Aubrey through generous and loving works. Sincerely, Dudley, Julie,Linden,Lindsey, and Nathalie Sutherland
We can’t thank you enough for the help in paying our hospital bill! We are a family in recovery from a very long critical hospital stay, brain tumor, loss of almost a year of income. Aubrey Rose is a legacy that is so kind and lifted us up! We vow to keep up the community fundraisers that we have been a part of for 20 years, and I will always think of Aubrey Rose.
The words thank you will never be enough. The Aubrey Rose Foundation touches people in a way that is unexplainable until you have been in the position to need them. My family has been fortunate enough to see the organization full circle. A couple years ago, we went to a fundraiser they were having, it was a beautiful evening full of the most caring and giving people I had ever been around. I left there with a renewed faith in people.
Little did I know that a couple years later, we would need them. My son, Tyler, became gravely ill and was misdiagnosed, VERY long story short, it landed us in Cincinnati Childrens for 2 months and more medical bills than I care to think about. Once we were home and the bills started coming in and were overwhelming, a friend of ours contacted Aubrey Rose Foundation. She had no idea we knew of them already. The day I came home and found that box on my porch was the most amazing feeling of relief. There was a beautiful letter that explained that $2000.00 of Tyler’s bills at Childrens had been paid!!! It took my breath away!!! Not to mention the autographed book, and the 3 stuffed animals for Tyler and his brothers. What a beautiful thing to include the siblings, who are often more affected than people realize in the midst of things like this.
We will forever be thankful and never forget. And as soon as we are able, we will again be at your fundraisers and be on the other side to help out this fantastic life changing organization. We are so blessed to have crossed paths with you!!
