Nancy & Jerry,
I would like to thank you for the scholarship reception last night and for all that you do for the community. It is very evident that you and the Aubrey Rose Foundation touch the lives of many families - spiritually, emotionally, and financially.
The speakers last night were very impressive in sending the message of getting involved and giving back to those less fortunate.
The summer before my senior year at Elder I (and a few other Elder wrestlers) painted a quote on the back wall of what is now called the Wrestling/Volleyball gym - "What I had I gave...What I saved I lost". This quote is still there for the students to see every day!
I look forward to spending the next four years with the four soon-to-be Elder Panthers who received a scholarship. They will have many opportunities while at Elder to continue giving back to the community!
